I don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of folk music, and understand even less about the technical side of where to even find these things (bootlegs) let alone upload and share them. Point being, I started thinking about how much of my wealth of Gillian and David knowledge I owe to the tireless efforts of sponwed . He provided an embarrassment of riches for those of us who would never have freakin' figured it out on our own. I know the blog has been out of commission for some time, but I remain grateful and so very appreciative of his efforts!!  less

The majority of us on here owe our vast collections of Gillian and Dave to sponwed. Both a musical scholar and a gentleman, he had already collected a large portion of his impressive archive before even ever having attended a live performance by the dynamic duo. Now THAT'S devotion! My hat is off to him and a debt is most certainly owed that I'll never be able to fully repay.

At 1:15:00, you hear Dave pluck a note and just stare somebody down... I don't know who it was or where...  moreI was front row here. This was a very weird show for me (more to do with the emotion of a long run of shows coming to a close than the performance). At 1:15:00, you hear Dave pluck a note and just stare somebody down... I don't know who it was or where they were or what noise they were making. That sound (not to mention the look on his face) was so piercing, it took me a couple songs to recover. I felt that shit! I was outside this stage door too, we probably crossed paths.

There are some light rumples at the top from the way it was rolled into the bag at the show, but has been stored in a tube ever since. If anyone is interested, I will sell for $30.00 and donate 100% to Austin Pets Alive!, one of the organizations currently focused on Hurricane Harvey rescue. (I looked over several and have chosen this one based on their location and mission.) If interested, send me a message!   RunningRattie Does anyone remember the name of the diner where Dave & Gill got their Last Pharaoh hamburger receipt? I can't for the life of me and all that's coming to mind are dinner names I probably heard in the movies.

    RunningRattie I could swear it was a literal diner, like with "Diner" in the name, specifically in Nashville. They said the name once or twice when introducing Last Pharaoh, but I just can't remember. Thanks for the help!

I know Brittany Haas is doing a Mount Kilimanjaro climb for charity at the end of this month... wonder if she's already gone abroad. Nothing AT ALL against Hargreaves, but I'm glad I got to finish out my round of 2015 shows with Brittany. I would have been shocked had she not come out to take the stage.

Absolutely loved the show (and my mom adores him, which I think is too cute). Can't wait to see DRM there from almost the exact same seats (opposite side) in just two weeks.
